Clondalkin Group, an international producer of flexible and specialist packaging products, has acquired Cleveland Plastic Films, a manufacturer of customized flexible plastic films for banners, food and industrial applications. Cleveland’s product offering includes a range of proprietary banner films, including the self-extinguishing FlameGard LiteGard two-sided printable banner film, and FlameGard Tuflok one-sided printable banner film. Its production plant is in Elyria, OH, USA.

Clondalkin, based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, has more than 40 production locations throughout Europe and North America and annual sales in excess of $1.2 billion. The acquisition of Cleveland Plastic Films expands Clondalkin Group’s North American industrial and institutional plastic packaging portfolio of specialist producers, which includes Accutech Films based in Coldwater, OH; Direct Plastics, Orangeville, ON, Canada, and Fortune Plastics, which has production plants in Connecticut, Tennessee, Illinois, Florida and Arizona.
